Yes! The garden is completely enclosed and secure for dogs. It's on three levels and guests call it a "sun trap" — perfect for dogs to play safely and sunbathe.
How many dogs can stay?
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome completely FREE of charge. If you'd like to bring more than 2 dogs, please contact us at hello@hazelbraecottage.com.
Are there good dog walks nearby?
Excellent walks! You can walk directly from the cottage to Offa's Dyke Path, Hay Bluff, and the Brecon Beacons. The River Wye is a short walk away with riverside paths and swimming spots. Guests say: "We were able to walk from the doorstep every day."

We provide dog bowls, blankets, and towels. You should bring your dog's food, lead, favorite toys, and any medications. There's also an outdoor hose for washing muddy paws!

Yes! We have an outdoor hose station specifically for washing muddy paws and dogs after countryside walks. Dog towels are also provided.
How far is the River Wye?
The River Wye is just a short walk away (5-10 minutes). It's perfect for riverside walks and has safe swimming areas for dogs who love water!
