A Day Out
"Half an hour in the car buys you a proper steam-train adventure through the Beacons."
The railway runs from Pant, near Merthyr Tydfil, climbing into the Brecon Beacons National Park. The round trip takes around an hour and a half, with a stop at Torpantau where kids can stretch legs and explore the mountain air.
